🇬🇧🎬🌟The journey led to Sicily, to the charming town of Bisacquino, the birthplace of director Frank Capra. Capra, who left for America in the early-20th century, went on to create numerous timeless classics, including It’s a Wonderful Life. His name is thus honored on the award plaque.

🇸🇮🎬🌟 Bogat festivalski program je trajal štiri dni. Številne projekcije kratkih in celovečernih filmov so spremljale razne okrogle mize in predavanja. Osrednje festivalsko prizorišče je bilo v mestnem gledališču Paolo Giaccone.

🇬🇧🎬🌟 The rich program of the festival lasted for four days. Numerous screenings of short and feature films were accompanied by various roundtable discussions and lectures. The central festival venue was the Paolo Giaccone City Theater.

Tukaj gre zahvala Eleni Costa, Noemi Mendolia, Domenicu Pampinelli, Stefanu Alfanu in Annalisi Tortorici.

🇬🇧🎬🌟The festival organizers warmly welcomed us and ensured a sense of inclusion and homeliness. We chatted with numerous filmmakers, whether they were organizers or participants, who shared their stories, perspectives, work methods, and visions. Special thanks to Elena Costa, Noemi Mendolia, Domenico Pampinella, Stefano Alfano and Analisa Tortorici.

🇬🇧🎬🌟 The festival concluded with a award ceremony held in Triona Square, in front of the magnificent Church of St. John the Baptist. The awards were presented under the stars, in a space surrounded by ancient architecture, adding to the authentic experience of the festival and Sicily.

🇬🇧🎬🌟A small town nearby has also been the backdrop for Giuseppe Tornatore’s Cinema Paradiso, which served as inspiration for many of my own film projects. The photo of the plaque was taken at the very location that played a role in Tornatore’s film.
