The short docudrama The City of the Poet is about Črtomir Zorec, who, in the spirit of admiration of the slovenian greatest poet France Prešeren, tried to get the town a memorial museum, a giant monument to the poet, and to preserve Prešeren’s remains in Kranj, for which Zorec fought to become Prešeren’s town. The road to get there was a long and full of challenges.
